Backcountry Climb 2.0: Redefining Mountain Limits
The evolution of our flagship model has arrived. The new Backcountry Climb 2.0
combines geometric refinement and material innovation to deliver a superior touring and
riding experience across all snow conditions and terrain.
Key Features & Enhancements
– Optimized Nose for Maximum Float: We redesigned the shape with a more
subtle, less pronounced V-shaped tip. This modification preserves all the necessary
surface area to maximize flotation on the deepest powder days.

– Increased Tail Rise: The new tail profile facilitates easier turn initiation and
enhanced maneuverability in demanding terrain or complex snow conditions, while
providing extra float in powder.
– Superior High-Speed Stability: Replacing traditional ABS with a Polyurethane
(PU) sidewall—combined with an advanced wood and fiber laminate construction—
drastically reduces vibrations and guarantees flawless edge hold on hardpack or icy
snow.

Backcountry Climb 2.0 V-Shape Geometry: Why keep the straight edge on the
inside?
Thanks to the V-shape of the tip and tail, the two halves of the Backcountry Climb 2.0
behave like conventional skis during the ascent, allowing you to skin up without having to
swap the halves.
Maximum grip where you need it most: The “valley-side” ski is the most critical zone for
control, as it is furthest from your center of balance. By placing the straight edge on that
half (and keeping the curved edge on the “mountain-side” ski, closer to your axis), you
achieve a firm, stable footing on hard snow. The result? Much safer, more precise, and
more efficient kick turns.
Mountain usage tips:
• Skinning experience: This configuration is designed for fluid skinning with both skis
moving in parallel.
• Skin track considerations: When ascending via a traditional (narrower) ski track, it is
recommended to reverse the halves to prevent the components from rubbing against each
other.

Features:
• Polyamide 8210 Corrund Top Sheet
High scratch resistance and superior durability.
• Poplar/Paulownia Core with Bamboo Inserts
Lightweight and strong, with extra reinforcement at the binding area for added durability.
• 30mm Carbon Layer Beneath the Core
⚡ Increased torsional rigidity and power for faster, more precise response.
• Flax Reinforcement in the Binding Area
Eco-friendly reinforcement that improves stability and energy transfer.
• Wax-Infused Isosport 7505 Base
Smooth, fast glide across all snow conditions.
• PU 95A Sidewall
Absorbs impacts and offers great durability.

• New wood and fiber combination that drastically reduces vibration and ensures
impeccable grip on hard or icy snow.
• Stone-Ground Base Finish
Improved traction for a smooth, precise glide.
• Ceramic-finished edges with an 89o/88o side bevel and 1o base bevel, providing precise
grip on hard or technical snow.
• 7 rows of binding inserts offering greater freedom regarding position, stance, and rider
angles in descent mode.
• Phantom connectors/hooks for a robust, highly precise connection and transition
between ascent and ride mode.
• Voilé tip and tail clips secured with screws and nuts (rather than rivets), making them
easy to replace in the event of breakage or wear.

3-year warranty.
