Splitboard crampons are a safety element in the mountain. When we are touring in hard snow it is very difficult to progress safely with our splitboard, which is when we help ourselves with the crampons to make a progression more safely on medium or moderate slopes.

Remember that the crampons will never replace the boots crampons but complement it. In medium or moderate terrain with hard snow we can use the crampons, but for more technical terrain and ice snow or ice it will be more advisable to use boots crampons. First of all, security in the mountains.
