What is Splitboard?
A split board is a conventional snowboard split lengthwise into two halves like skis. This allows you to ascend mountains using the ‘jibbing’ technique.
Once at the top, all you need to do is put the two halves back together to convert it into a conventional snowboard.
Splitboarding is an exciting form of snowboarding that allows you to explore unexplored landscapes and enjoy untouched snow. It consists of a board that is split lengthwise into two skis for the ascent and reassembled for the descent.
Why splitboarding?
The splitboard facilitates ascents in snowy mountains, allowing you to transform the board into skis to go up and then into a snowboard to go down. It is perfect for those seeking adventure away from traditional ski resorts, enjoying the tranquillity and beauty of nature.
